How do I use the Line / Work Areas data source?

Manage your lines and work areas in one space and all your forms will immediately update

The Line and Work Areas section of the app is where you manage this data source.  Any changes you make in the Line / Work Areas page will be immediately reflected in all Line / Work Area fields in your forms.

 

What is a data source? 

Data sources are centrally managed lists that can be selected by staff within forms. Data sources help to standardize the data that is captured and make form building more efficient

 

Use the Line / Work Area data sources in 2 steps:

STEP 1 

Add your line and work areas to your app by tapping the green button.

STEP 2 

Add the Line / Work Area field to your forms in Form Builder.

That's it! 

Now any time an administrator creates, edits, or deletes a line or work area in the "Line / Work Area" page in the app, the changes will be immediately reflected in all Line / Work Area fields in all your forms.

Switch your Line / Work Areas to draft to temporarily hide them from the dropdown.
