How do I edit an Inspection Schedule?

To edit an Inspection Schedule, remove the old schedule and create a new one.

If you would like to make a change to an inspection schedule, simply remove the schedule and create a new one by following these instructions:

Step 1: Remove the schedule

  • Find the schedule you would like to edit
  • Scroll to the right and click on the remove button button
  • Click all of the checkmarks to confirm that you understand the implications of the removal
    • Based on the first checkmark "Inspections due in the past and due today will not be affected" - before deleting a schedule, you should set any "Overdue" inspections for that schedule to "N/A" or they will never be removed from the inspections schedule. 
    • To do this, open a new tab, set the "Line/Work Area" drop down to "All Inspections" and then use the Filter to find the "Overdue" inspections you want to set to "N/A".
    • The easiest way to do this is to filter the "All Inspections" list by "Status" = "Overdue". You can also filter the list of inspections further if you wish. 
    • Click on appropriate inspections and set the Inspection Results field(s) to "N/A" and Submit the form. 
  • Once you have removed the "Overdue" inspection, come back to the "Delete Inspection Schedule?" module, check the boxes and click "Delete".
