Use conditional logic to reveal each field only if the “Pass Percentage” field is “less than or equal” to 99%.
If you want to create Action Items in the event of a failure, you can use the Pass Percentage field to identify if a failure exists in your inspection and then use conditional logic to reveal your Action Item Assignee fields. Let’s dig in.
Adding the Pass Percentage Field
If you are using Inspection Result (aka Pass/Fail) fields in your forms, you can use Pass Percentage to summarize if a failure was captured in the form.
The Pass Percentage field automatically adds up the total Inspection Result (aka Pass/Fail) fields in the form, determines how many passed and provides a percentage for the results.
You can determine the color of the field based on the percentage.
Adding Conditional Logic
The real power comes, however, in using conditional logic to determine what fields you want frontline staff and/or supervisors to complete in the event of a failure.
You can also use “Action Item” fields that are only revealed if the Pass Percentage is less than 99%.
They do this by:
- Adding the Inspection Result fields
- Adding Pass Percentage field
- Adding the Additional, Follow up, and/or “Action Item” fields.
- Using conditional logic to reveal each field only if the Pass Percentage field is less than 99%
AND THAT’S IT!
Now you know how to reveal additional fields by using conditional logic and the Pass Percentage field.
